Version 1.5 is current (effective August 15, 2026). Audits governed by earlier versions exist, and reports carrying a version stamp name the version they were run under.

Your audit is governed by the version of the methodology in effect when you bought it. That is what makes a guarantee claim adjudicable: it is decided against the rules you actually purchased under, not against whatever we happen to be doing later.

No superseded version is published on this page, and none has been. Until version 1.4, this page was promised as the place they would appear. They did not appear, and rather than leave that promise standing we have narrowed it to something we can keep every time it is asked of us: every superseded version is retained in full, including the period before this methodology carried a version number at all, and we will send you the text that governs your audit on request.

Write to hello@validash.com with your report link or session ID and we will send you the methodology as it stood on the date you purchased. If your report carries no version stamp, say so and we will send the text in effect on your purchase date.
